Van Gogh Mania.

751px-VanGogh-starry night Van Gogh did not live in the secret place of the world where he saw jet engine turbulence as many of his paintings seem to indicate according to Paul Scrivens. This excerpt from an old copy of Art Journal, “Art, Madness, and Human Interaction” details that Van Gogh experienced a variety of mental disorders (namely bi-polar) that impacted his artwork.

It is also well-documented that Van Gogh demonstrated this through his paintings. This is seen most extraordinarily in his painting “The Stary Night” (Which I also included as a graphic for this post). Van Gogh had a turbulence of mind that came out in his paintings, that demonstrated who he was, and his own struggles as an artist and as a man. What do you think your art shows about you?
