New Experiences
Over the last few days, I’ve had a few new experiences. I went to a Chiropractor for the first time and was quite surprised when the doc did a Steven Seagal neck break move on me with accompanying sound that reverberated exactly like a machine gun firing directly into my brain. It felt wonderful… afterwards though.
I am still waiting to get into see a regular doctor about the high blood pressure thing, but I have cut salt from my diet and started drinking decaf coffee (for which I was greeted with “decaf white chocolate mocha?” during my second day on the job at my new coffee shop position. Somehow, it doesn’t seem to go together apparently.
Life
Also, I’ll be borrowing a car for the next few weeks so that we can have two cars. Sometimes the schedule doesn’t work well for us to only have one car now. I’ve debated buying one, but since reading that book that the Pipers got for us for Christmas, I have been double thinking how to manage finances for both Becca and myself.
Books I’ve been reading.
By the way, if you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend it. I would put it in the category of “Financial advice for the free spirit” because of the way it is written. Think of it as parables of financial success.
Work
Today, I am working at the Newark Store (River Road Coffeehouse) and mainly be training on the POS system and drive through. I have been quite surprised at the variety of backgrounds many of the coworkers have. A dentist, a software engineer, an accounting student, etc…
Anyway, I am going to work on the powerpoint for sunday a little before work and probably a little after at the coffeshop today. One big work day.
As for art, I do have a new canvas sitting on the easel ready to paint. I’ve been told that I underprice my work, but in the meantime feel free to buy the underpriced paintings until I get prices right. Also, don’t forget to write and get some free art card prints as soon as they are printed.

Hi William,
It’s good to see everything moving along in your world. I seem to be at a crossroads in mine. I’ve been at crossroads before but this time it feels different. Perhaps I will avoid my old habit of trying to walk two paths at once. I’ve learned that eventually you have to choose one or fall from both.
Take Care,
John
