I just received my first series of limited edition business art cards today and will be starting to distribute these in various ways. I am also looking for sponsors for these as well. A sponsor would be someone who commissions to have a custom set designed/printed and their url written on the back along with actual signature of the artist and print number. I only do art card prints in series of 250 cards.

Thanks Diane. I tried several different ways to make ACEOs (both limited print aceo and original ACEOs) and sell them but got a little disappointed having this investment in cards laying around that I couldn’t sell. I pretty much had almost given up on the idea. But I did learn they were hard to carry with you without some kind of added protection for them. I also like the panoramic dimensions of the business card size. They are the same height as ACEO so they have that in common with ACEO, so people may pick up on collecting these right beside ACEO hopefully. I added you to the blogroll by the way.
thanks for the tips and adding me to the blogroll, I will do the same for you. Will try out the business card idea and let you know…

What a great idea to have business card sized art cards. I made some original art ACEOs (see http://www.unlimitedpalette.com/aceos.html) and have sold a few, but prefer the idea of giving cards away for free. I would send you some but mine are not business cards or prints. I could probably print some off fairly cheaply though. Like your blog…
