I get a lot of funny looks when I tell people I am a blogger. I also get some funny looks when I tell people I’m a pastor too. In all, I just get a lot of funny looks. It might be because of the extremely pale vampire look I am going for… just kidding.
It’s getting harder and harder for the average family to make a decent living. Becca and me, we’re not the average family. It’s just the two of us and our cats that we have to take care of. No kids, married and early/mid 20’s. We are average that we have some debt.
We have paid off one credit card and a significant loan in the last 2 years that we’ve been married. We’ve accumulated some hospital bills probably equal to the debt we paid off. We need to pay off a lot more. My student loans, some back taxes and a computer I had financed before we got married. We think we can do it in a little under a year.
If we were the average family right now with 1.5 children, I don’t think we’d be able to do it.
