Of work and life.

October 18, 2008  |  Life  |

We moved recently and I have been working abunch over the last few weeks.  Just trying to finish up the rest of my church work before my last day this Sunday. It’s been hard balancing both jobs the last few weeks.  But for you regular readers, I haven’t forgotten you. I’ll be back to writing more soon.

Meanwhile the baby is coming along nicely.  You know that phrase, “The bun is in the oven” well, my wife has a bad habit of burning things she puts in the oven.  I am getting a little worried that she might “overcook” the baby.   ;)

  1. You made me laugh aloud about overcooking the baby, then I had to read your post to Howie. :) God bless you guys! Send us your new address, okay?

  2. Hey Kimberly, things are good here. I am glad you liked that, it’s true though. She even slept right through a doctors appointment this last week and had to reschedule. She’s pretty forgetful at times.

We will probably be starting some Bible Studies here soon too. You guys are welcome to join us when we do. Gonna hit some of those “hard topics” in scripture. We’ll get you our new address. I just can’t remember it right now. (and me talking about Becca forgetting things…lol)

  3. I don’t know if I’m ready for “hard topics”. I’m doing well to get myself to church with Howie. It’s hard letting go of baggage and not having preconceived notions, you know? Pthbt.

The State of Change

Change is hard.  We all know it.  We get tied into a persona, a name, an idea and we one day find that it's not us anymore.  A friend of mine is contemplating changing his domain name.  His old domain
