Just a quick note that if you’ve left a comment in the last few months and somehow it got misplaced and never showed up… I just figured out and fixed the problem today. So there won’t be as much of a delay for me responding and approving comments.
For those of you who are technically inclined, the server changed how it was handling emails being sent from the wordpress script on my web host to validate the sending of the email. So the email address it was validating was wordpress@decloned.com which I had never needed to create before, but somehow I needed to now. Since this didn’t exist, it stopped sending me moderation emails. What fun!
A workaround I found and was using is Wordpress Notifier which just logs into wordpress and checks periodically if you have comments. But I’d rather handle this in email if I have a choice of how I want things like this handled.
