I know Earth day was Yesterday but…
…we happened to take a little walk down to the creek with our pup today.
I guess I am inspired by strange things such as old things I find in the woods. People over the years have thrown out some of the strangest things near or in creeks. Old tires are common, but then you find things like entire engines laying around, you begin to wonder if the rest of the car rotted away.
Here’s one thing I happened to pick up today. It might be fun to guess how this came to be here probably many years ago. Can you guess what it is just by this image below?

yeah, an old flashlight. Now, that just begs a story to be told doesn’t it? Some kids out at night sneaking away to do “kid things” and one of them accidentally drops his flashlight and the light goes out. It could be any number of things, but it’s still fun to speculate about what could have happened that left it in the middle of the woods near a creek.

I haven’t seen a flashlight like that since I was a kid, and they were old then.
And, it was made in the U.S.A! Rare find.
