Now, I love animated movies and I love animals so in January when I caught a glimpse of a dancing Penguin I marked it on my calendar as date night with my wife. (She loves the same kinds of movies by the way.)
I came away from this movie thinking “I didn’t know you could do so much with white & blue and black, white penguins” This movie was stunning from a visual perspective and definitely one I’ll pick up when it comes out on DVD.
Of course there was the rhythm element to the movie and I’m also a hand percussionist/drummer so as soon as I finished my Reeses Pieces, I was also tapping my hands on the armrests too. All in all, I was impressed with the way this movie was handled dealing with water all throughout would have been tough to accomplish seemlessly with it all being frozen solid, broken, splashed, powdered snow, dived into for underwater scenes and anything else you can imagine.
