Grapes

Grapes are a contraband food in our house. We have young children who are finicky about food and a dog who will eat anything that they give him. Grapes are poison to dogs. Hence, no grapes.

But I bought some last night for a photoshoot. I think most of the images will go live over at Lightstock soon, but I thought I would share some grapes with you.

Llama Sees You

Yesterday we went to a small local Zoo and Animal Sanctuary a few miles from our house with the kids. This Llama followed me for awhile along the fence where he was enclosed.

The kids had fun feeding goats and the camel tried to steal the feed bucket.

Family Updates

So things have been a little quiet around here lately. It’s not intentional I assure you. Usually quiet spells actually just mean there is too much going on to write a real update or post a photo. We should return to regularly scheduled posts in the next month or two. Our family has found a church in Clinton, TN now and we are excited about that. I have one image (above) on LightStock that is doing exceedingly well right now of Aidan praying in the woods. I am hoping to add more images to my portfolio there in the near future.

As for the family. Aidan in particular has been a challenge recently. But I think there is just so much going on that he has been acting out. Hopefully, some semblance of normalcy will return soon and that will abate. Éowyn is growing bigger everyday and talking a lot more.

Other than that, it’s spring and flowers are starting to bloom. We recently paid off a huge amount of debt and are excited about the changes that are happening around us right now. Spiritually, Physically, Financially & Emotionally things are really coming together right now.

Gatlinburg Flood Stage

In Gatlinburg yesterday, we had to leave the Aquarium a little early since the Trolleys were being shut down because of the rising water. In this image a few emergency workers were monitoring the rising water. We rode the bus over the bridge and to another stop where our Trolley would pick us up to deliver us to our car. I don’t know how much higher the water got.

Hit the Gatlinburg Ripley’s Aquarium today to celebrate my little boy’s birthday. Happened to catch this photo of shark teeth. It was framed like this when I took the image. Thought it was pretty cool.
