As I’ve been without a computer at home for the last few days (and till the end of the week most likely) I’ve begun a series of studies into portrait drawing. My wife is a photographer so I have been using some of her portfolio proofs for these.
Since they are local people, I can’t post renderings of them without their permission. So they will have to remain in my secret stash of drawings that someday willbe worth fortunes.
In all I have completed two portraits this week, and only one of which I was close to happy with. I’ve been working in pencil and charcoal in a small sketchbook.
