I can’t help but when I am watching this video (which I found thanks to Design Sojourn, a blog which I discovered earlier today) think how will this affect art in the coming years. Browsing through a collection of paintings will be a breeze compared with the programs we are currently using. I see scrap booking becoming a digital exercise played out with interactive elements for more than just memorabilia’s sake. Scrap booking is at it’s core is a cataloguing of images and story already. So here are some questions among others to ponder.
But what about painting on your computer in full 3d with your fingers and interacting with that world in real time?
What will animation look like?
What will this do to the paradigm of 2 dimensional information?
