We now have a child on the way. 
 
That one thought seems to be overshadowing so much for me right now.  I am in some kind of strange transitioning phase of life. 
Many things seem to have a new meaning now.  I am not sure where it is eventually leading me.

I am in the process of a new painting.  I think I am coming back to my more abstract roots.  The new piece is halfway done but already beginning to look pretty cool. 
I’d post a picture, but it’s on the drying rack before the second layer is applied.  Maybe soon.

Today has been an interesting day.  I’ve embarked on some new blog projects with a friend (not yet to be named).  Some of these projects are potentially big deals and could be pretty good investments of time and energy, but most of all they promise to be fun.

I’ve been spending some time with my dry medias lately… Conte, Pastel, Charcoal…
This is a mixture of all three entitled “when the wind blows“.

I broke out the pastels today as well.  Berry was my first attempt in quite awhile doing anything with pastels.  I definitely need to brush up on my pastel work. 
I like it though.
