I have recently realized that the local arts people in my hometown are doing more than I initially realized.
They offer glass blowing classes as well as a wood workshop, an art gallery and other art classes for all age groups. It’s been a challenge here recently to find people locally who are interested in art. I get a lot of interest, but very few people who get their hands dirty and pull out the clay or paints.
So I am going to go check out the local arts scene and see what’s up. This didn’t even exist before I left for college and when I came back, I guess I didn’t really look into it. The time has come.
Maybe this could be a great avenue of finding some new talented artists to feature here on AH. Meanwhile, if you are a lurker or just happen to be passing by and glancing in the window at Artist Hideout, I’d love to see your artwork.
If you would like to be featured on Artist Hideout please see how you can submit your work here.
Or…. if you have a blog you display your work on… many of my comment people on Artist Hideout, I also link to. Maybe I’ll link to you too.
