When you delete a flickr account that you were using to publish images to your blog, all of your images suddenly have this funky text image that says something to the effect that “This image has been deleted and is no longer available”.

Well, I deleted an old flickr account awhile ago and went through my blog to make sure that all posts with that stupid image were gone. Google apparently doesn’t like posts on blogs to be deleted and continues to try to index these pages (possibly impacting your search engine position?).

So for the sake of Google who doesn’t understand that a person may actually delete a posting now and again….
